Sinta Satriana is a Social Policy Specialist with over 10 years of experience in various countries including Fiji, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Thailand, Tonga and Vanuatu. Her recent positions include Social Protection Specialist for the International Labour Organization (ILO) Office for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok, Social Policy Specialist for United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Office for Pacific Island Countries in Suva and Social Protection Advisor for Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Gender Equality and Women Empowerment Programme in Jakarta. In her work, Sinta Satriana has provided governments with technical assistance in designing, implementing and monitoring social protection, poverty and employment programmes. Her contributions include coordinating innovative studies and impact assessments of social policies, writing and presenting policy papers, organizing stakeholder consultations, engaging non-state organisations and development partners, and providing trainings at national and international levels. Having previously worked as a researcher, she is accustomed with data collection and analysis using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Sinta Satriana holds an MSc in Public Policy, an MA in Development Research and a BA in Communications.
