Monetary- and Multidimensional Poverty among Children (UNICEF)

Members of the SPRI team applied the CC-MODA (Cross Country Multiple Overlapping Deprivation Analysis) methodology to the Demographic and Health Survey 2013-2014 of Togo. Contrary to the National-MODA methodology, the CC-MODA methodology is not contextualised to fit the country’s definition of child multidimensional deprivation or poverty, however, the use of standardised deprivation indicators, dimensions and thresholds allow the comparison of child deprivation results across other low and middle-income countries studied using the same methodology.
