  • Impacts of COVID-19 on Children and Their Families in Viet Nam
    • The SPRI Global research team is carrying out a mixed-methods study, using both quantitative and qualitative strategies, to analyse the impact of the pandemic on children and households, focusing on the target study sites of Ha Noi, Bac Giang, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Refresher Training on Multidimensional Child Poverty in Kigali
    • SPRI Global facilitated a technical training in Kigali to teach NISR staff about child poverty measurement in Rwanda by using the statistical software STATA. Participants got hands-on experience on how to create indicators and dimensions, how to calculate different types of analyses and how to interpret the key results.
  • Social Sector Assessment Report Validation Workshop in Maldives
    • SPRI Global facilitated a series of workshops and consultative meetings in Male, Maldives, towards the validation of key findings and conclusions deriving from an analysis of the social sector in Maldives.
  • Inception Workshop on Multidimensional Child Poverty in Burundi
    • SPRI Global is working on a MODA together with UNICEF Burundi, and our three-day workshop in Ngozi brought together 30 participants from the ISTEEBU statistics office, sectoral Ministries, academic and research institutes, and UNICEF among others.
  • Multidimensional Child Poverty Analysis Workshop in Suriname
    • On behalf of UNICEF Suriname, SPRI Global is currently conducting a multidimensional child poverty analysis and social protection mapping in Suriname as well as a workshop on the MODA methodology in Paramaribo together with UNICEF Suriname and the GBS.
  • Trends and Drivers of Inequality in Kenya
    • SPRI Global researchers joined Kenyan National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS), UNICEF, UN WOMEN Kenya, KIPPRA (The Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis) and sector representatives for a capacity building workshop in Naivasha, Kenya.
  • Multidimensional Child Poverty in Burundi
    • SPRI Global experts were previously on-site in June of 2022 to discuss the parameters of the analysis with key stakeholders and returned in September for a second mission to Burundi to deliver a technical training on STATA and present the results of the analysis.
  • Capacity Building Training in Sierra Leone
    • SPRI Global is currently working with UNICEF Sierra Leone, Statistics Sierra Leone (Stats SL), the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development of Sierra Leone (MoPED), and other relevant stakeholders in measuring child poverty.
  • Review of Social Assistance and Grants Administration System in the British Virgin Islands
    • SPRI Global is currently supporting UNICEF Eastern Caribbean, in collaboration with the Government of the BVI, in conducting a review aimed at reforming BVI’s social assistance programming, and disbursement of community development grants.
  • Social Sector Assessment Report in the Maldives
    • A SPRI Global research team carried out a mission to the Maldives to meet local stakeholders as part of a Social Sector Analysis and Sector Plan Development in support of UNICEF Maldives and the Ministry of Gender Family and Social Services (MoGFSS).
  • Meetings with the Department of Justice in the Maldives
    • A SPRI Global research team carried out a mission to the Maldives to meet local stakeholders as part of a training in data literacy for the Department of Justice of the Maldives, in support of the Prosecutor General’s Office and UNICEF Maldives.
  • Capacity Development for the MEF in Mozambique
    • SPRI Global is providing technical support to Mozambique’s Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) to undertake a multidimensional and monetary analysis of child poverty based on the Household Budget Survey (2019/2020) data.
  • Child Sensitive Social Protection Training in the Pacific Islands
    • SPRI Global is currently working with UNICEF Pacific Islands in delivering a Child Sensitive Social Protection training in various Pacific Island countries.
  • Measuring Child Vulnerability in Cambodia
    • SPRI Global team members carried out the first consultative mission to measure and monitor children’s poverty and vulnerability in Cambodia based on the latest available Demographic and Health Survey Data.
  • Workshop on Social Accountability in Social Protection in Cambodia
    • In support of Oxfam Cambodia, SPRI Global team members carried out a workshop and training on social accountability mechanisms in social protection programs in Cambodia.
